How to disable AIR?

Well, I just got my headers bolted up. I bought them used, and they are AS&M. When I got them, the AIR tubes on the front were welded shut. So, do I need to cap off the AIR tubes that were going to the manifolds? Can I just leave them open?

I'd prefer to just leave it there, incase I ever need it. (Emissions MIGHT be coming here..)

Thanks!

Re: How to disable AIR?

Simply unplug the harness connector from the AIR pump. As long as there is a good fuse in the circuit, OBD-I will not set a code or turn on the SES light.
