How to check the Fuel Pressure

On my 93 Z it was fairly easy, on the drivers side fuel rail there was a valve you open the cap and hook up your gauge to it to read fuel pressure after taking off the vaccum hose from your fuel pressure regulator. Well on my 94Z i couldnt find it and dont know how to exactly check for fuel pressure i know at idle with the vaccum hose off it should be at 43.5 PSI. If anyone could help id appreciate it, thanks in advance.

It's at the back on 94-97s. You check it the same way.

At idle with the vacuum hose off, it should be in the range of 41-47psi. 43.5 would be "more" correct, but GM accepts that range as normal. Attach the vacuum line, and it should drop proportional to intake manifold vacuum. A 6-8psi drop would be normal on a stock cam. Less drop with a more aggressive cam.

Most important test is on the road, at WOT/max RPM. Should not drop below 41psi.
