how to change regulator
Here is an exploded view of the rail. That should show you what you have to do to get it off. You will probably want a fuel line disconnect tool (3/8" and 5/16") to get the couplings off. I would imagine it would be easiest to do with the rail off the car.
You should relieve the fuel pressure at the Schrader valve before you do anything. Engine cold, hold a rag over the valve, depress the stem. You need a Torx-27 bit to take the screw out that holds the regulator to the back of the fuel rails. You also need to release the metal clamp the holds the hard lines. Pull the metal spring clip off (don't lose it) that holds the regulator to the hard line and you are done.
