How to %uck AirPump & StayClosedLoop?

I want to install a D1SC Twin i/c's . My current air pump on 94Z is blowing 30amp fuses after a few hours. As it is in the way, and probably not necessary?, and going bad ie drawing too much current ?, can I leave it off and fool the computer into going closed loop?

If you disconnect the plug into the air pump it will not set off an SES and you won't notice a bit of difference. But you must have a good fuse in either way.
