Will a 2001 airpump fit a 98?

Hi all i found a 2001 airpump for cheap, it has 38k on it, i was wounderin if it would fit a 98 LS1 i know that other then egr, and manifold changes that there hasnt been much in the way of emissions changes, i was just woundering if a 2001 airpump will work on my 98? thank you

I would think that the dealer parts desk would be the best place to get this answer.
I just took mine off of my 2000 with 25,000 miles on it.

Well, i am not gettin it from the dealer so thats why i am asking. The person who has the airpump told me that it should fit all years but i just wanted to double check with this board since alot of people here know alot more about then camaros then me

I wasn't saying to buy one from a dealer.
I was saying to pick up the phone and call the dealer parts desk and ask them to see if the part number was the same.
