I was doing a search for soemthing else and stumbled across this thread.
Comp R lifters are overkill on a cam like this. As are new pushrods. MANY people are running much more radical cams (steeper lobes, more lift, stiffer springs) with stock lifters and stock pushrods.
I ran my Xe 230/236 upto 6500rpms with no signs of problems whatseover. Tons are running the CC 306 (which is more or less the same cam with more exhuast lift) on stock lifters and pushrods.
This is poorly spent money.
But hey what do I know
