Cam you pass emission with a hot a cam kit and stock heads?

 

Yup, that is why many people choose this cam setup, so they can stay emissions legal and its a pretty cheap setup too...you may be able to get away with something like a CC305 too, not positive though, that may depend on what state you are in

 

With everything hooked up, it'll pass like a stocker. I know my WS6 didn't have any problems on the treadmill.

 

My Hot Cam with stock cam has passed both the tail pipe stiff test and the new Georgia ODB-2 computer scan test. You won't have any problems if the car is tuned and everything is hooked up.

 

I ment to say stock heads not stock cam. It is still early.

 

yup, i passed emissions easily after i got the car tuned. All the hot cam needs is tuning to pass emissions so that ur not running too rich.

 

Has anyone actually passed california smog with an LT1 hot cam? I am thinking of going with it, but do not want to be disappointed in the end. Everything else will be stock except headers, flowmaster, and cold air induction.
