Hooker LT's on a Single Cat - I need a Y Pipe

Wanting to get the Hooker LT's but i have a single cat car and it looks like the mufflex y pipe was desinged for a dual cat. If not how do i go about installing this with my exaust?

I can afford AS&M headers too - this is good cause theyre pre coated and come with a y pipe desinged for my car, should i get this, and i hear these are much better than MACS - this tru ?

And how would i get the Stock Cat on a AS&M header setup, from what i understand i would have to chop it off my stock y pipe and weld onto AS&M, this correct ?

you can fit a mufflex y-pipe on a single cat exhaust, all you need is a dremel and a lot of cutting wheels

but the mufflex sucks, don't buy it.

www.stainlessworks.net also makes a y-pipe for the LTs.

Part #CA93-97HKRAL.

Yes, the AS&Ms are better than MACs from what I hear, but LTs are ALOT better than the AS&Ms.

Do many people run LT's with a cat? I was under the impression LT's were non emmisions headers.

I do, my long tubes came with 2 cats, one after each collector.
