We'll a shop to do it would cost you about $500-700 depending on the shop..and you probably wouldn't get a pair as nice as that..and they wouldn't be mandrel bent either most likely...
So I'd say a fair price would be in that same neighborhood I'd venture to say..nothing less than $500 for sure.

Since my last post above I did completely redo mine myself with 3" and 2.5" mandrel bent over the axle and it kicks *** compared to what that bone head muffler shop did the first time around.

My 2.5" mandrel bent true dual system was about $800 if you delete the
cats. That's the muffler shop price, and he does very clean work.

z28roxy- did you do all the work for 500 or is that what you payed a muffler shop?
Ive only got one quote from a shop and they told me 1100, i laughed and walked out.

I was just wondering if any of you have had any issues with the pipes rubbing under aceleration or hard turns or any of that type stuff? I am afraid I would get every thing finished and it would rub the floorpan somewhere.

Make sure your motor mounts aren't worn or get a poly mount on the driver side, that will keep the motor from torquing over any. Mine have a hanger on the tail snout of the tranny and connects right around the X-pipe and then a hanger on each muff at the rear bumper and are rock solid, the pipes hardly move at all.

what kind of saw are you using to cut the pipe straight. I read where Jchevy puts the band clamp to make a straight cut but just wondering what I need to use to cut it.

I havent had any problems withrubbing. I have poly motor mounts and a poly trans mount. The only issue I had was the I had to reweld a hangar twice. I think thats just because the two hangars in the back are supporting all the weight.

I used a cheap chop saw to make all the cuts. If you dont have one its worth buying. I beleive its either a 14" or 15" saw.

Just a chop cutting wheel saw like mentioned above. They come in very handy for tons of other things, can get a cheap one at Harbor Freight for about $35 if you don't need an industrial strength one. The one I got was on sale for $29 there, it lasted long enough to build my entire steel garage and do my true dual exhaust then it crapped out..but had a 3 year warranty so I took it back and got another for nothing

Are your duals out the back of the car, over the axle? There is more than $200 in materials to do so. Or do they dump before the axle?

they dump right at the axle. I was going to go over the axle, but, ran out of time.

And, my bends were only $5/piece
