Home made 3" duals over the axle done!!!! *PICS*

Went to the hot rod shop bought a 10' section of 3" pipe 6 Madral U-bends and went to town. This is what I ended up with.

H-pipe

Relocation braket for panhard bar. Had to lengthen the upper panhard brace.

Random pics, some were taken before I changed to Aerochamber mufflers. I had bullets to begin with.

Do you have one of those BMR panhard rods modified for duals over the axle? That looks like a real clean way to run duals... if you can, take pics of the ground clearance when its back together.

I modified the stock panhard brace to fit. I basically did what BMR sells. I Made the relocation bracket and then lengthened the panhard brace so it would fit. It is back together now and I snapped a quick Pic from under the car. Its hard to tell, but the clearance isnt that bad. My car is lowere close to 2" in the rear.

Its just about an 1" lower than the TQ arm.

And they say it can't be done!!!
Must be nice to be able to weld!
Question though...will you be adding tips to the tailpipe or will that be where it ends? If what you show in the pics are where the end will be, why didn't you put the driver's side muffler on the tail end like you did the passenger side, for a balanced look?

I am still going to add tips to it. I didnt think of putting the bullet the same way as the other one at the time I welded it. I had been working on it to long and just had a brain fart. if I cant find big enough tips to hide it and make it look balnanced then I will just end up moving the muffler so it matches.

Nice welds! I take it that you gotta have the axle out to install/remove the system?

I pull shock, spring, swaybar endlinks and the passengerside control arm and the exhaust will slide out. Kind of a pain, but not to bad.
