Re: Home made 3" duals over the axle done!!!! *PICS*
See the first post, added pics. I ditched the bullets and went with a pair of hooker mufflers. Had to modify the trunk to get them to fit. I think if i had t-tops i could still keep them back there.
Car is nice and quiet now.

anyways, it looks pretty awesome man. it is off center a bit, but nothing a little trimming on the driver side pipe wouldnt fix.
btw- i'm pretty jealous right now. just when i started becoming accepting of the dumps before the axle, too. i now hate you.

That is a dam good job! I thought for a long time about doing my own, but then convinced myself that letting the one guy in the DFW area that would do it do it... Well, there a few things I would have done differently, and probably one day will redo it my own way after readign this...I too was going to by several manderal pieces liek you did from Summit but was afraid of my welding abilities with a wire feed on exhaust pipe...but I have since welded on it just fine.
Here's some pics of how mine turned out..

As for mufflers, if you want some quiter mufflers, I used DynaTech Split flows which just fit in the rear in this configuration..you can find them at Jegs they are striaght thru but fairly quiet

thats amazing, i have been wondering why companies haven't came up with dual catback systems. All the shops around here in fort wayne, in tell you that it cant be done because there is nowhere to run pipe on the driver side. I never understood why you wouldnt be able to run the pipes both down the pass side and apparently i was right for doubting the shops.
