Angry high rpm miss ,roughness?

I just put a brand new delco opti and waterpump in my car,It got rid of a low rpm hesitation problem I was having, but I still have have a miss at idle, and surge that starts around 3k rpm.(it was doing it even before new opti). It seems to do it more often in 2nd and above gears at 3k plus as opposed to first.I replaced the plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter and 02's about 3 months ago and all the wireboots are on tight and dont look burnt,I also just put some injector cleaner in.It doesn't run that bad but it deffinately doesnt feel 100%,If its related,The car just seems rougher, and resonates louder. There are no exhaust leaks and the cat is new.I have no SES light but a tech said my PCM was no good before I put the opti in(I think they were trying to rip me)Anyway it could be an injector,or could a plug(s) have gone bad already,as I really don't want to pull all those suckers out again to check,or is there another way I could check? What should I do?this car is driving me

I guess looks can be deceiving, the damm #7 wire right behind the exhaust manifold, was stuck to the loom and was almost cracked all the way through! To anyone who has a missfire, check that plugwire first and pull it all the way off,as you cant see what condition its in unless you do.I just went up to autozone and bought a single 8mm wire for now and the miss seems gone,(I wonder,if MSD sells them individually?)but I still cant seem to route the wire completely away from the manifold or the head. What a stupid design

Well I'm where you are now..or were. I have a high rpm miss which I contributed to bad gas and fuel filter, done all that, I bought a length of MSD 8.5 SC wire with the spark plug boot and crimp...(the opti side is not sold individually from MSD yet) so this evening I'm changing out my #5 maybe since it was the problem child last time. This go around though it does not feel burnt like the new MSD was on the jethot header #5 primary. I routed mine on the outside of the stock spark plug rail because it's too hard to get them on the inside. I agree stupid design. But I sued wire ties the thick ones they seem to hold up to the heat and my wires are about a 1/2" away from the headers at least on that primary tube. I hope it's just a wire on my end because it has a brand spanking new opti in it and has been running fine for a couple months.
