High Idle, P1441 DTC

It references the FTP(fuel tank pressure sensor) but there is not one on the car. I'm thinking EVAP Canister or the other one, can't think of the name right now, damn. Any thoughts?

1441 comes up as Evap system flow during non purge..... not a fuel tank pressure issue. Souunds like a sticking solenoid in the system....

You have a vacuum detection switch on the passenger valve cover, in the line that comes from the charcoal canister in the driver's rear fender, to the EVAP purge solenoid on the small bracket on the passenger side of the intake manifold. The vacuum switch is detecting a vacuum, when the solenoid should be closed. Could be:

-solenoid stuck open, as bw_hunter suggested (carbon particle can keep the solenoid open

-you have the two hoses on the EVAP solenoid switched

-faulty vacuum detection switch.

Always use an LT1-specific code list, like the one on Shoebox's site. It would have pointed you to the correct description of the code. Note the OBD-II tab at the bottom of Shoebox's page:

Correct connection of hoses:

I've already changed the purge solenoid. And replaced the vacuum hoses, Check the Charcoal canister next or is there something else to check before this?

Make sure you have the two hoses connected correctly to the solenoid. If you have them reversed, you will get that code.
