Most work all the same, Catco/Carsound/Magnaflow /RandomTech/ etc... but the Random Tech will somehow cost you about $200 more, I cant find any reason to pay that much more for a cat. Most you will find anywhere from 30-60 depending on the pipe in/out size. Look on ebay there are sellers that you can buy the Carsound/Magnaflow cat from for like $40 or less. Good Luck

I just bought a Catco, -supposedly flows the most from a magazine review, but they all are about the same. Yea, my GMMG with LT's will be too loud without one too

I had one put on meinekee for 212 installed.

I had no way of welding it to the y-pipe. Also some fab work had to be done to connect it ot the y-pipe.

I got a random technologies cat for my car. I don't really have experience with any other high flow design but I am happy with what I have. Didn't seem to rob any power either. Here is what thunder racing has that's direct stock replacement- http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...yid=1052#T1289

Also random makes lots of universal designs if you need something diferent.

All I did was called my local muffler shop and asked them can they get me one... had it on my car later that day I dont think it really matters if you just want to quiten your car down some. I wouldn't spend alot of money neither for a CAT

If you go from a catalytic converter to a high flow cat then I don't think the sound will change much if any. If you go from no cat to any cat you will notice a quieter exhaust tone.
