Help!!! Tranny guys enter

I just changed my tranny filter and shift solenoids. My car had been shifting funny so I thought I'd give it a try. Well, I just got it back together and now I don't have 1st or 4th. Is one of my solenoids not coming on or something. I need some help and which one would it be (left or right if looking at the front end) that is messed up? I have to drive the car tomorrow and it's too late to fix tonight, will the tranny be alright? Thanks for the help.

This isn't going to help your problem but I noticed mine isn't shifting up to par so I scanned it and got a code 82 shift solenoid A circuit.I thought about changing the solenoid but I don't know if that would help. What was the price of the 1st-2nd solenoid incase I go trial and error. Thanks

Well, they are like $22, but I dont remember if that was for both of them or just one. Call like advanced or autozone or something, they could tell you.

Your car is a 95 right? What year shift solenoids did you use?

The SHIFT solenoids are the same year to year...The PWM, and 3-2 solenoids had some differences between early and late.

I used shift solenoids out of a 94. I checked first and I was told they were interchangable. I am pulling the pan back off tomorrow, should I put my solenoids back in? Or should I just check the connections? I want to put a drain kit on it too, where can I get those and where is the best place to put it? Thats incase I dont get it right again.
