Angry Help taking out my fuel pump!!

Ok, I'm tryin to take out my damn fuel pump to sell to someone, but I can't seem to get the thing out to save my life! I've cut up my gas tank and all, just can't get it out!

There's a picture of where I'm at. The pump is connected to a spring thing further down in the tank, which then goes to this plastic cylinder thing, and I can't figure out how to disconnect those two pieces! Please help.

Maybe your fuel tank was dented in the crash?
