Re: Help with Scan9595

I have to let Gary address the interference. I'm a mechanical engineer, he's the electrical engineer.

GaryDoug told me to buy one from the “PCM” guy, but with $18 shipping on a 1/4lb item (matter of principle), I decid

BTW, I swapped the SLP Loudmouth “resonator” for their same-sized “muffler”. 51% less obnoxious.
Yes, the data wire in the car between the DLC and the pcm. If you are getting any data, that is ok. Don't worry about the scan glitches, ignore them. BTW, I love the 51% less obnoxious report. I think that's a huge improvement.

Re: Help with Scan9595

I found my Scan Log from 8/13. This is after VSS re-connected and with no codes. This is a 25 minute session from cold start to driving (cruising & accelerating).
Intake temp shows 92 at beginning - that's about right at the time of Scan.
Fred, Gary told me to post this. Perhaps you can review and point out any red flags?

thanks,
Chris

Re: Help with Scan9595

Had the car dyno’d today - couldn’t be happier.

In 2009: Regular 301 hp/328tq, 100 shot nitrous = 404hp/450tq.

Today, 4 pulls (no printouts - monitor screenshots ONLY) 77 degrees, 60% humidity.

1st pull = 349.9hp, no torque displayed. Warm engine, hood closed, fan blowing on front of car.

2nd pull = 336.6hp, 350-ish peak torque, engine heating up, hood closed.

3rd pull = 335.7hp, 350 torque, engine getting hotter, hood closed.

4th pull = 345.9hp, 360 torque (pink graph) engine very warm, hood open.

It really felt like the car is running better than when I last drove it in ‘09 and the dyno numbers seem to support that.

Was scheduled for dyno this upcoming Thursday but rain in forecast (maybe 5 degrees cooler) so, did it today

Different shop, different dyno. Not sure what the margin of error is but, I really feel like replacing the sensors has made a difference - most were original 1994.

MAF
MAP
O2’s
EGR

I cannot remember what plugs I was running (switched to NGK coppers in ‘09, to satisfy suggestion for colder plugs)

Now running Accell Platinums and cheap summit 8mm wires.
