HELP!! Runs great, but won't start...

Hi. I finally got the lt1 in my truck fired up today. The only problem is, it won't start without some starting fluid in the intake. It runs great after that. It idles perfect and roars like a beast with throttle. What could the problem be? It seems like the injectors don't turn on until after the motor starts. I don't know where to look for this..

lt1 wont start

I had the same problem with a '92 model chevy pick up(350c.i.). It would run ,at least decient after i got it started with a little shot of starting fluid. I checked every fuel aspect of the fuel system there was. Finally it threw a code and it was a $35.00 Throttle Position Sensor. It worked the best.

Do you have the fuel system set up to prime the fuel rail like the stock LT1 has?

Well, I figured out the problem a little while after I posted the question.. It turns out the direction the MAF is facing makes a big difference. It runs and starts like a champ now. I can feel the frame flexing when it shifts into second at WOT. That motor is a badass with a 3.73 rear. Thanks for the suggestions!
