94Z, I just replaced my water pump, and it turns over, but won't start. There is no fire off coil wire going to optispark. the coil is plugged in. Please dont suggest taking it back apart, my nuckles are trashed. Thanks!

 

Make sure all connectors on the coil and coil module are plugged in securely and also check the coil fuse in the underhood fuse/relay panel.

 

good guess, but the 10A fuse is ok, and there are 3 plugs-all seem connected, and a couple of grounds are bolted down.?

 

Did you get the coil wet by any chance... before, or during, replacement? I had to replace my water pump once because the pressed hose was leaking and it was dripping onto the coil. Unfortunatly, it ruined the coil too.

I hope that's not what it is but its a thought. Good luck.

You didn't unplug the opti by chance or got it real wet with coolant?

You can try this to help troubleshoot.
