Has anyone had this problem? Hazards work for the rear but not the parking lights. Also when I go to signal the rear will come on BUT it's not blinking it's just on and in the dash it's lit the same way but the fronts don't come on at all. If I go to turn the lights on the parking lights and rear lights turn on but no blinking at all just a steady light when going to signal. I need some suggestions fast as I'm due for inspection. All the fuses are fine. Could it be the turn signal stalk itself even though that doesn't explain the rear lights working for hazards only. I swear every time I let the car sit for a few days a new *****in gremlin shows it ugly head.

Check any light that is not lit first. If all the bulbs are good, check the flasher module.

 

have you changed the bulbs latly if so take them back out and turn them around

 

Hey thank you for responding. Flasher moduel? Where is this located? About the bulbs I've got 2 that wouldn't go in there original location so I swapped them to the opposite sides and basically forced them in so I'd have parking lights. I took one out but maybe they both need to go out for the signal to work again.

the flasher is in the front under your sterring wheel but by what you just said its the bulbs this happned to me and i was stumped for weeks till the inspection mechanic switched the bulbs around

 

Agreed...mine did the same thing, flipped the bulb and everything worked fine again. They're only supposed to go in one way, but the plastic sockets will give enough to let you put it in the wrong way.

 

See that's just the thing. Wk earlier they worked now they don't. I didn't switch or install any new bulbs. I had 2 bulbs that were not working, took them out and they fit in their designated spots but they would not light. So all I did was swapped sides. The parking lights would come on but that was it. Hit the hazards and only the rear would blink and the front would not. Took the bulbs out and put it back the way I found it and I still get the same result. Rear hazards blink fronts do not blink or come on. The instrument cluster signal flashes as well when hazards are on but then when I go to signal either left or right the light just stays on no blinking and the rear only light up? WTF? Don't understand how a wk prior it was fine w/ 2 lights in the front inop and still have the hazards work and turn indicator work but now all I get is grief from this car.

So what could it be? Flasher module? But that doesn't explain the front not lighting up at all when going to hazard or initiate turn signal. Or does it? Or is it the turn signal stalk but the same applies there too.

Symptoms. Rear hazards work, turn signal lights steady but only in the rear.
Parking lights work w/ either 2 bulbs one on each side or 4 bulbs.
