help with oilpan clearance

Question for those with aftermarket oilpans, i have a milodon 30909 on my stock bottom end lt1 with a bmr k-member. My problem is that the oilpan is slightly touching the steering rack, enough so that at idle i can feel engine vibrations through the car, what is the best way to get some clearance in there?
thanks jason

With the pan off the car, heat up the spot where its rubbing and use a mallet to pound it in a little. This should do the trick. I wouldn't apply heat to the pan with it on the car though. Rob.

You could put washers between your block and motor mounts. Basically move the block higher. Used to do that with the old Canton pans that had the same problem.

Thats also a good idea, it wouldn't take much. The only reason I suggest taking the pan off is that I don't think it would be a good idea to apply heat to the pan with it still on the car. The spacer on the motor mount should work pretty good as well.
