HELP! Just installed Japer Engine....no power to drivers side fuel inj rail??
Car runs rough on start up & stalls out & is running REAL rich. Checked everything that we could SEE with our eyes and can't see anything out of order. No codes in scanner......anything that I/we should be looking at? ANY help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

"No power to the drivers side fuel injector rail"????
You have verified that there is not +12V power to the pink wire to each injector on the driver's side? You have verified that the PCM is not providing the ground to each injector, using a noid light? Have you listened to the injectors for the clicking of the solenoid in each?

Tested & no ground.....PCM not commanding ground with those plug thingy's (i'm not a tech! LOL)that go into the injectors. The car worked fine except for the Knock before the motor was pulled. Harness was NOT taken off car for pull...just unplugged from the injectors & laid on the windshield.

LOL That is always a possibility I guess!
We're going to go over it tomorrow at the shop and check them all out.
It's really weird though.....it seems to only be a problem @ idle or a little over. If you bring it up to 1100-1200 rpm's, it seems (not verified with Snap On Modus, just "feel") to run real smooth & nice, instant throttle response and will take off like an animal (for the work done to it). It's very odd......as far as the Injectors clicking or whatever, VERY hard to hear at the moment. Has a small header leak (used Mac supplied Copper ones) on the passenger side that we can't trace yet, so it's hard to tell if they making noise or not. I'm assuming you mean when the car is running! LOL

PS I really appreciate you taking the time to answer....I was really hopping you would be one the people to respond!

Re: HELP! Just installed Japer Engine....no power to drivers side fuel inj rail??
I guess I really don't understand what your problem is..... the way I read it, the entire drivers side of your engine has non-functioning injectors. Its running on 4 cylinders.
But "If you bring it up to 1100-1200 rpm's, it seems (not verified with Snap On Modus, just "feel") to run real smooth & nice, instant throttle response and will take off like an animal (for the work done to it). "
Really doesn't make any sense at all.

Re: HELP! Just installed Japer Engine....no power to drivers side fuel inj rail??
Yes, it's weird, no doubt. I will post some more information this afternoon. I will get more scanner verification (but, OB1 so not nearly as much information & diagnostics available). It makes no sense to me why it seems to run that way. Hopefully I will have better news later or at least more data on what tests we did.
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,

Ok, 9:30 AM EST......took all the harnesses off and found nothing out of the ordinary. Replugged all the wires and it ran fine.......till it got to operating temperature. Then it was stalling & running rough till it got past like 1300 rpm's then it's fine. Going to do more searching........to be continued........

10:10 am est.....O2 sensors are reading TOTALLY different. The "Good" bank of the motor, the O2 is running @ 40 mv @ idle & the "Bad" bank is running 200 mv @ idle. We are going to switch the O2's to see if the number stays the same or changes.

Thanks for everyones help, problem SOLVED!
I want to thank Injuneer for all his wisdom! This site would be nothing without people like you & many others who try & help a mechanically challenged person such as myself.
The actual problem was an Intake Gasket leak! We torqued it down on the stand, but we lifted the motor by the intake bolts that we found to be loose.
