HELP im pulling my opti off and found something
so 1st time pulling my opti and everything is going fine, untill i get the opti off.
there are signs that oil has/is/was leaking out of where the dowel goes into the opti.
WTF!?!

so it looks like oil was leaking from the seal where the splined shaft goes in the timing cover?
if so, its common

it can, you really should replace that seal, if it is the one for the shaft that drives the opti, it is easy to replace(with the opti off)
