I have the cheapy plastic disconnect tools from autozone, the smaller return line come off easy for me, but the supply line is a Bitch, I have to keep messing with it. I just recently replaced my fuel lines to the rail, and the supply line is still a pain.

Hey, Just push the tool all the way until it stops. Then pull the line off. Sometimes they can be a pain. I found rotating the tool around sometimes works. There are four or five tabs inside the lines, they must ALL be held out for the lines to disconnect. Keep with it and you will get it.

Just keep at it. Make sure you are pushing the lines towards the rail and disconnect tool, and not just yanking on the disconnect tool.
