Re: Help With Fuel Delivery
well, i dont know exactly where it is located on a Firebird, but i have had this problem with my car and it turned out to be the Fuel Pump...a good way to test your fuel pump is to get a buddy or someone to get in your car, and turn it over while you beat on the center of the gas tank with a rubber mallot...it should start and then spudder around until it dies...and just keep repeating that, if it does that over and over again, its definately your fuel pump...hopefully someone else can help you on location of your fuel filter...

Re: Help With Fuel Delivery
The filter is on the drivers side rear subframe, right in front of the wheel/axle. Its in the same location as the red billet filter in this pic, but it isn't going to look like the billet filter, it will be a silver metal "can" with a line and a line out.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds when you turn the key to "on"?
Do you have a fuel pressure gauge - easiest way to check.
Is the SES light on? If the Opti is putting out the low res pulse signal, the PCM shuts down the fuel system. A scan would show DTC 16 if that's the case. Might be worth flashing the codes on your SES just to check.
