Help, car stumbles and I can smell raw fuel!

Car threw a P0100, and runs real rich! It just randomly started doing this while driving. The car kinda jerks when driving, and is having a HARD time accelerating. When I put it in neutral to slow down, the car idles itself up to around 1800 and stays there, then at a complete stop, it idles down to like 400 and tries to die, and I can smell raw fuel. I put anoter MAF in it that I know is good, and cleared the code. Started it, and the light popped back on and did the same thing. Im stumped. I am afraid to drive it with it doing this. I replaced the pigtail about a year ago, and havent had any problems until the other day. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the wiring harness. You test this by having the car running (and in closed loop) and wiggling the wires plugging into the MAF. This is a tough one since finding the problem can be hard. O2 can short out and take the maf with it.

Check the pink wire in the MAF harness connector for +12V.

Got it figured out. Seems as though my pass. side o2 harness got melted on the header, and shorted out and caused the fuse for the MAF to blow.

Im having the same exact problem, however im throwing no codes and it only happens every once in a while, other times it will run absolutely perfect. However it will happen so bad sometimes that the car will just completely die. I brought it to my mechanic and he said it wasn't a big enough problem yet and he couldn't figure it out, and also said my O2 harness wouldn't make it act up that bad.

Yeah. when my fuse blew, my reverse lockout got REALLY hard and I had to force it over. I replaced the fuse, the car runs great, and the lockout works again . I dont know what genius GM engineer designed it that way, but I would have not have wired it up that way.

what do you mean by your reverse lockout? And when you were having the problem, was it all the time or only sometimes like me?

I think i figured out my problem actually. I went to my grandfathers dealership today and plugged it into the computer and it threw 3 o2 sensor codes. So i figured out my check engine light doesnt work. I looked under the car and my right side o2 harness is all melted. But when i cleared the codes the car ran fine and has run fine all night. wierd..
