He doesn't own or work for any shop, he never built any engines, and he has never worked for a shop. He has 0 engine building experience. He just spends time in the dyno section on LS1tech and thinks hes a cam god... yet he managed to become a cam expert
But if you want some "internet expert" with no real world experience to spec you a cam go ahead and have him spec you out a cam.

Well, I can vouch for Bret. He's a good guy to do business with. And DOES have his own shop, and DOES build engines. I would take his word over some guy on LS1Tech, or just about anyone for that matter.
link please. also, proof that these engines he builds exist would be nice too. if he does have a shop dedicated to automive work now, it's gotta be new.
I dont have the link, but check out Bauer Racing Engines, his web site is a little vague, but I can tell you now, Bret knows his ****. And I would not hesitate to buy anything from him again. Next year, when I do the engine right, you can bet it will have a BRE cam, and LE ported heads. And Bret definatly took the time to go over things with me before I ordered my springs, RR's, pushrods, locks, retainers, etc. PM me later if you get a chance, just wondering why you dont think he has a shop, etc.

I may be mistaken, but aren't you the one asking about a cam in another thread? You already got supporting valvetrain parts before the cam?
