HELP ASAP-in middle of converter swap

I just started to install my converter, but I can't rotate the driveshaft to reach the other 2 bolts. I'm in nuetral, but it just won't budge. I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. Please help. I need to finish tonight. Thanks

Did you remember to release the emergency brake?

I had it on, now it is off and the driveshaft still won't budge at all. Car is in nuetral and the parking brake is not engaged.

I'm assuming you have the back wheels off the ground! Try turning the back wheels, they should turn freely; if they don't then re-verify you're in neutral.

You have to have the car in gear or something, when I did mine I could turn the driveshaft with my hand.
The rear wheels are off the ground right?
If your sure its in nuetral and the brake is off then grab one of the rear tires and turn it.
This should be easy unless your brakes are binding up or something.

thanks for the quick replies. I was just jacking my car a little higher b/c the tires weren't completely off. Should be fine now. Thanks again.
