Looks like your porter will be glad to see those done and out of his sight. Some time will be needed, hope they come out well.
As strocker said no pushrod pinch at all.
Is that the typical wait time for their heads? Also what is the going cost I never looked into them since I have not pieced together a setup in a bit.
Better get at it summer is coming.

.... As far as the ring on the finger.. That's my roomies finger.. he's married.. what a sucker.. lol.. And the initial eta was month or so.. But then w/ the holiday's and what not.. it just kinda got pushed back and what not.. Not bad IMO for a small production head.. How long does afr take to get a set of 210's out nowaday's?And the heads' are pretty cheap they're 1700 to my door angle milled and the intake angle corrected as well as the bolt holes' spot faced.. but that's as you see them.. but a considerable bit more money is going to have to go into them to get there to where they are able to bolt onto the motor.. For instance you can't use a stud mounted rocker and for any good set u know the cost of those are upward's or 8 or 900 smacker's.. They use longer valves , and the list get's longer and longer.. Def. not the easy way to make power.. Could have gotten away w/ a 18deg or 15 deg for the same $$$ or maybe less.. I'll see where this take's me.. And if it ends up being junk.. Well.. then.. better luck to me next time.. lol..
As far as the summer.. Car has been down for almost 2.5yrs now.. few more month's ain't going to kill me.. Check it out.. http://www.streetsleepers.com/illusionalta_gallery.htm

Yep, the casting itself can be the cheap part, although All Pro's stuff tends to be a little pricier than most.
A set of "as cast" 15 degree GM heads will set you back ~$1500. Seats and machining will add another $500+ to that price tag and we haven't even started talking about valves and port work!
I believe the best deal (new stuff) going right now is the BMF 18 degree CNC heads. But I digress...

Possessive is the correct spelling.
"(It's my) pet peeve." is a complete sentence with "my pet peeve" the object. Here it's is a contraction of it is, and not the possessive pronoun its.
I'm just picking on Chris' usage. No offense is intended.

Steve,
Don't worry, If it all doesn't work out, I know where their is a nice set of little chief's and a block to fit that will make it all go away...
But. I am sure you will be happy! Glad to see you finally got your castings.
Now back to work for me! (Speaking of that...When racing ends in November, Why does it take till Jan for me to get the stuff back to turn around again before march?)
