Header questions..need ground clearance ,good plug access..

I was going with jet hot macs but still hearing some not so good reiviews on mac fitment and quality control, welding etc.

I have my car dropped an inch with hotchkis springs so need some ground clearance.I don't want to run cats. I do want a nice coating or stainless .

I don't care that much about price. Plug access is pretty important to me along with ground clearace. Ease of install is nice too. So what is the recommendations guys?

Well I just installed Pacesetter Ceramic Coated LTs with the accompanying y-pipe. Ground clearance is exceptionally good, they tuck up very well, and the quality is also pretty good aside from beads of weld all over the place. Spark plug access is great on every cylinder except #2, but it is still an improvement over the stock manifolds.

I realize they are very pricey but think leaning to kooks non stepped longtubes. They seem to give good plug access and not hurt ground clearance.I assume they would give decent power gains with planned mods of cc 305 and le2 heads. Have zex wet kit ready for install also.

Your car is ONLY dropped an inch.... PaceSetter LT's, my car is "slammed" as a lot of people like to say.

Pace setters are some nice tubes, and clearance as you can see Shouldnt be an issue.

Plug clearance should be slightly improved.

BTW: nice car man, well done

Definately look into LT's. I think we sell LT's to shorties/mids about 30 to 1. If you going to do it do it right. And 99% of LT's nowadays you don't loose much clerence.

My coated PaceSetter LT's and y-pipe were less than that from texasspeed or whatever that site is.

1st there was water on the car because I just washed it and took the pics before I dryed it, and second it's not inside because it is not a tach it is a MECHANICAL fuel pressure gauge (which means that there is fuel running all the way up to the gauge). I don't know about you but I don't want fuel pointing at my face inside my car.

Re: Header questions..need ground clearance ,good plug access..

i have 93/94 style 1.3/4" headers right now ... plug access is dogsh*t though.... cylinders #5 and 6 are VERY difficult to get to.... hopefully with a thicker header gasket (copper) this will change... also re-doing the bolts with allen fitting bolts instead of these gay Stage 8 "locking" bolts
