header ?...already tried searching
I searched for what seemed like hours and my question is.... What all will i need to connect a set of MAC midlength headers for a 94-95 firebird to a 96. I have a loudmouth exhaust, am i going to have to fabricate a pipe to connect the Y-pipe to my catback? What should i do about the cats? I was thinking about just putting a high flow cat behind the Y-pipe. Should i get O2 simulators or just have my PCM tune them out? One more, should i have my PCM retuned for the headers?
Thanks, TONY

That thread may help.
You will need an S-pipe to go from the new cat to the existing catback. Thunderracing sells one.
Your system will be like this:
Headers=>Y-pipe=>New cat or ORP=>S-pipe=>Current catback exhaust
I would recommend getting the PCM to tune out the rear O2's. www.madz28.com can tune them out for $75, which is cheaper than O2 sims, or you can spend $125 and get them tuned out and get a performance tune too.
You will need new male to male AIR adaptor fittings. I got mine from jet-hot.
