The name that is used in the 1995 Camaro's Owners Manual is ASR (Acceleration Slip Regulation) If you have the Manual, description is on pages 2-71, 2-72, 4-9, and 4-10 on how it functions.

Re: having trouble finding name of this fuel part

Thank you. The wires going in to the ASR got fried and now my car will start but it stalls immediately. I hope if i change the ASR it will be fine?

That's not the traction control module. It is the throttle adjuster unit for LT1 cars with the traction control option (NW9). The ABS/TCM module is under the dash above the drive side kick panel.

Re: having trouble finding name of this fuel part

The section of the factory manual dealing with the "Antilock Brake System With Traction Control" (5E2) labels that part as the (throttle) adjuster assembly. It receives mechanical input from both the accel pedal cable and the cruise control cable, and modulates the movement of the throttle cable based in input from the traction control system (TCS on the Firebird, ASR on the Camaro).

In effect, the adjuster can override the input from the cruise control cable or the accel pedal cable, to reduce power when required to regain traction.
