Technical Question???

I have looked all over but cant find the answer...On my 95 TA with factory 4L60E, i just replaced the rear universal joint....Do i need to use all 4 circlips or just 2? If i am supposed to use all 4, does anyone have a pic of where the 2 with the saddle straps goes at? Thanks!

Re: Technical Question???

The pinion yoke does not require clips because it has little tabs to keep the bearing caps from going anywhere.

I'm not Fred, but I just looked at a pic I have of an LS rear yoke and there are no tabs. I know there are on older rears. Anyway, the cups wont go anywhere after you install the driveshaft and put the straps on.
