Having major problems with voltage and A/C.

Ok I have some major problems. The other day the A/C stopped working as did the power steering. When I looked under the hood I had a broken belt. After I replaced the belt I was only getting about 10-11 volts on my gauge and when i turned the A/C on I would get a check gauges light and the voltage would go way down. I had the alternator checked and I was told the alternator was bad so I replaced it and that did not solve the problem. Now looking under the hood I can see that when I turn the A/C on that the A/C pulley completely stops turning. So, is my A/C clutch messed up or is it the entire compressor? How do I figure this out?

Sounds like your compressor locked up. That could cause it to throw a belt too...
