Hand tuner/base tune
Hand tuner/base tune
I have just got done with my motor and put it all together. Well i didn't want to pay 600 for a full tune, so i had someone do a base tune on my car. well when i got the base tune do i couldn't drive it because i still have a few things that needed to be done with the car before i could drive. So he took my PMC and put it in his car and downloaded a tune and put it back in my car. well everything worked put great, but now when i take off my shift points ain't right.. So... My question is can i use my hand tuner to redo my shift points or would it [edit] the tune that's already been downloaded on the PMC.. i didn't know if i could go in and change it.... THANKS

Re: Hand tuner/base tune
What mods do you have done to your car? Did you get a higher stall convertor? In what way is it shifting incorrectly? A hand tuner is probably too limited for your setup. This info can help figure out what is wrong. Maybe you can have the tuner person retune it.

Re: Hand tuner/base tune
I have a 3000 stall, It shift fine when i drive at speeds. once i get on it, then that's when it wants to no shift in gear till i get off the gas and hit it again, but even then it don't seem to want to shift in to gear sometimes. So i didn't know if i could change that with my tuner, and **** my base tune up?..
