only oil i use is Shell Rotella 15w40.
its usually only sold by the gallon.
it is the only recommended oil for super-high mileage gas, diesel and turbo-diesel tractortrailers.......and is recommended by the techs at garrett and KKK turbos.
if it lives up to their standards, its certainly good enough for my car.
i change it every 2500-3000, with PureOne filters.
ive heard people having probs from the K&N, and also Fram.
