Guy's Need you're Input
Hi, I'm rebuilding my LT1 engine, so far I have LE3 heads on the way along with a Bret Bauer cam which I now have. One problem is my rotating assembly, I still don't know if I should go 355 with a 6" rod or a 383, both will be forged. I trying to get into the 11's on motor and 10's on juice. It's a 6spd, and I have eveything except the rotating assmbly. Will I have any clearence issues with the 355 as far as changing oil pan and clearence block. I know 383 have tq but I can spray the 355 and make it up. I other words my "Q" is what are the advantages and dissadvantages of both. It's a 95 Z plan on sprayin 200-250hp. What do you guy's think I should build.
