Guess my dyno #'s
Guess my dyno #'s
Just finished up adding some power adders to the old LT1 and dropped the car off at the shop for a full dyno tune with Bryan from PCMforless. I'm hoping for some good #'s with this mild setup. I'm not sure if all of my mods are in the sig but here are the ones that will give you a good guess.
-M6 Tranny
-K&N intake
-stock descreened MAF
-52mm professional products TB
-cc503 cam
-scorpion 1.6rr 7/16"
-trickflow guides and pushrods
-comp lifters (new design / same retainers as stock)
-comp 918 springs
-BBK shorty headers
-stock cats
-Dumped 4" dynomax bullet
-3.73 gears
-Aluminum driveshaft
-Lt4 knock module
-MSD wires, accel u groove plugs
-100k mile motor!
-Full custom dyno tuning by Bryan
Take a guess, I'll post the charts tomorrow night.
I'm hoping for at least 330/325

Dyno went very well. I'm very happy with the dyno #'s considering the car is running stock heads with pretty basic bolt ons.
Hp and Tq curves are very smooth, Bryan suggested long tubes to get the most out of the cam but oh well.

Not bad for an old LT1 haha

IMO, the numbers are low especially considering they are STD. SAE numbers are ~2.5% lower than STD. If I read the A/F right, you are under 13.0 and a bit rich. Leaning it out some might make a little more power.
The stock heads are choking the cam and thats why the power is peaking at 5.8KRPM. That cam can easily make power over 6K with ported heads. The BBK's are probably playing a small role but they are not the smoking gun IMO.
Sounds like climate conditions sucked for the tuning. Maybe a small role there. I would start checking things and datalogging to find any possible issues.
IMO, this motor should make ~330rwhp SAE.
