I am probably gonna pick this cam up because I found a good deal, but was wondering who all was using it with stock unported heads? I will probably be using 1.5 rockers for now , but if I went with 1.6s, what springs would I need? etc.

 

977s @ 1.850 installed. You'll also need +.050 valve lock to get that much height on a stock valve.

I ran 12.6 @ 112.5 and dynoed 318rwhp on a dynapack dyno. After the tune, I put out 340rwhp. I was not able to run the car after the dynotune tho. PRobably a 12.2 @ 114 car @ 3600 raceweight.

Stock heads, longtubes, bolts ons, etc.

edit: Mine was on a 114 (I'd go 112/110 if I could) and 1.6 rockers. Car was an M6. Drivability was ok after some tuning. Drove it daily for a over a year until I decided to go to bigger and better things .
