Here's the message I sent him. (if anyone notices me at any point acting as a "d**k" as he reffered to me, please let me know.
What he did is summed the two separate packages and made it $130 total.... (note, he didn't even ask or confirm or anything)
He also mentioned nothing about having a cable. These prices are if he would've send me his pcm for reprogramming. If he would've mentioned he had a cable, I could've given him a better deal.... You be the judge.

Hi, if all you want is to adjust your air/fuel ratio, I can do it for $45 ("Saver
Package"), but if you want the full package which includes timing/fans/etc
adjustments, it's $75.

Here's his first message:

I was wondering how much it costs to get you to level out my A/F (I have a dyno graph) as well as have my fans turn on at cooler temps....
These are the only messages he EVER sent me.

I never offended him or anything any other time. He jumped into a similar post last time and mentioned the $130 thing. I just told him that wasn't true and he did not have anything to back up his statement. That's where it all ended.

EDIT: These messages are in my PM box. I will send my password to Jason so that he can verify it if anyone needs further confirmation.

Seems to me this is just a communication issue. Ion is a great guy...and very easy to deal with. His website alone is clear and concise as far as prices, and even when you want something that isn't listed, he was always quick with an answer to any questions, in a professional manner. If anyone was to do a search on this board to find out about Ion, I think they'd play hell trying to find someone who bashed his business...or his personality.

So Ion didn't rip you off or anything?

his comment above is pretty rude...
He also insulted me in another thread after I said that PCMforless was WAAAAY cheaper for me.
Well, yeah...but it seems that you are almost bringing it on yourself, though. If you keep replying to his posts backing him into a corner, do you expect him to kiss your ***? You are happy with your programming from somewhere else, maybe you should leave it at that, and leave Ion alone?

I mean, I have Jet Hot Headers but I don't jump into every post about FLP headers...

I'll try to find the thread.
How about we drop it and let things go?

Ion.... Has been great to me. I asked alot of stupid questions and he went over and beyond what I expected him to do.

My pcm went bad so I had Ion socket the PCM for removable chips. He agreed to also load seperate programs on the spare chips and even took the time to look at my program.

I think you just had a misunderstanding and certainly don't see it was worth bashing him on this board.

BTW... Thanks again Ion for all the help.

<<his comment above is pretty rude>>

You were the one that insulted him first in the first post you made on this thread. I think the guy has every freggin right to defend himself.

With that said, Madwolf has helped many folks on this board with thier questions and concerns including myself and I have done business with him before, I actually sold him some stuff and he was a pleasure to do business with.

My 2 cents,
Claude
