Took my intake off to send it to Lloyd and it had quite a bit of oil and carbon build up, how much is normal?? Was this the intake leak that mad my car sound like it had a supercharger on it and didn't???

 

I'd clean out all the chucks

 

The EGR will turn an intake black, this is normal.

Not sure about the oil, could be oil going through the PVC and TB.

 

The common intake leak is the back surface where it mates to the block, not the internals. Oil vapor makes its way from the passenger side valve cover through the TB to the intake. This line is intended to be source air for the PCV system; some guys add a oil separator in this line to prevent oil from entering the intake.
