Good Pizza Bad Opti

Well i pulled my opti, opened it up, all really badly rusted. Think that is why my car isnt running ha. Anyways on the upside i got my msd in place, trimmed the wiring down, shortened it soldered it made it look like its supposed to be there with its blaster coil. On a different note. AutoZone sells two different parts for cap and rotor assemblies, one for 93-94 and one for 95-97. Kragen sells one for all years that is vented, does that mean i can buy the less expensive and vented opti cap from AZ?

So i thought id mention my recent previous luck with my car since im ranting. I blew the pinion gear apart, which yielded a rebuild of a stock 10 bolt with 3.73's. Then went driving around about a week, clutch blows up, cracks bellhousing. After welding, milling and jamming a new clutch in. Get it back on the road. Drive it a week, starts backfiring, then wont start. bad opti. Anyways in the meantime, its a stock lt1, has 1:6 rr, k&n fipk, its getting a trickflow elbow, has shortie headers, magnaflow exhaust, the whole msd thing. I hate it and love it when it breaks, gives me an excuse to go "hey honey, while im replacing this it just makes sense to replace this stuff too." hehe

I'm not sure if the cap and rotor are the same for vented and non-vented, but I wouldnt go that route. I would just spend the extra money and get a complete new unit.
