good cam?

good cam?

im looking to throw a cam in my 94 z28(a4). mods are listed in my sig. what would be a good street cam that will give me fairly good power and not have to mess around with the heads at all?

Before you start ordering valvetrain parts, you're going to want a set of headers first!

Any decent cam upgrade will need new valve springs, at the minimum. I agree that headers are a better bang for the buck. They are also an easy DIY. A cam install is a pretty big job.

Definately headers to go with the Cold air intake and cat back. Then a good tune. You then have alot more options but if you then decide to go ahead with the cam i know some cams that will work with stock accessories. heres a list with info on each.
Some will work without headers also but it is wise to always get at least headers or you will never get the performance you could get out of a cam.

Can't beat the LT4 Hotcam if you are on a budget.
