Good All Season Tire Choice?

I'm currently looking at buying a 94 Z28 but it needs new tires, as I live in Vancouver,BC I need a good all season tire that can handle the large amount of rain we get plus the very occasional snow fall(very light)
The tires i have been considering are the Dunlop SP Sport 5000
or the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS
Does anybody have any opinions on these or can they recommend something else

Thanks in advance

GS

I have the SP Sport 5000. They are a great tire. I will say though that the cheaper Sumitoma HTR+ tires grip in the snow even better and are a little bit cheaper. I had to drive in some snow when I used to live in VA.

$81 versus $116. I Know which one I'd buy.....

I had the Dunlops on my lexus and they wore horribly. I put nitto nt450's on it and have been great...in the rain and dry. I have the same on my camaro...and when I was in lubbock I thought they drove great in the rain, snow and heat. My brother just bought some KDW/S and they are unbelievable. Plus they have a 400 treadwear rating on them...I guess it helps the are 275's, but...And they were only like 139 a pop, which isn't bad. Once I get some 17's, I'm all over the KDW/S's. My .02

I have the BFG KDWS and were recommended to me by a tire retail outlet. Of course that was when I though I'd be driving my car in the winter too. They are great tires though and highly recommend them.

Another vote for the BFG KDWS. I needed for the New England snow and it makes car feel safer in snow. But for me the real surprise was how much better it handled in rain, i dont feel hydro-plane as much.

I had the Dunlop SP Sport 5000s on the back of my Firebird last winter and they worked very well, even with a few inches of snow on the ground. They should work out great for you in Vancouver.

I moved the Dunlops to the front this spring when I bought the F1 GS D3s for the back, and will probably buy two more Dunlops and put them on spare wheels to use for the wintertime. I hate snow tires, especially since most of the winter here the roads are dry anyways.

I use the Continental ContiExtremeContact. They work great and were very cheap.

Cool

I run the Dunlops. In 25+ years of driving I find them to be the best all season performance tire I've owned. I like them more than Firestone, BFG, Michelin, Pirelli and Goodyear.

On my second set. Replaced first set at 45,000 miles with still plenty of tread left.
