Going to save up for a tranny next summer any ideas?

I plan on parking my z28 next summer and keeping it for a very long time. And as long as I have the car i plan on doing mods on it so I was hoping for it to be in the 11's before i'm done with it so does anybody know of a good tranny that will hold that kind of hp and torque. Also I am thinking of getting one with a stall already in it. Also where is a good place to buy the tranny from?

Put it in a really big box and mail it to me. I've been building racing automatics for over 14 years. I've got 700/4L60E's in some pretty wicked 10 and 11 second cars. Do a search for RACINLT1. I built his 4L60E 2 1/2 years ago...He runs 11.0 @ 124 MPH...IN DRIVE!
My personal 700 has lived in my 12 second '93 Z for over 3 years without any problems.
The best part is, you won't have to save as much as what others will charge. $1000 for one that'll carry you into the mid 10's.
