I'm having a problem with my idle at 2000rpm and need to turn it down quick. I have the LT1edit but my laptop is at the college with my sister. Would unplugging the IAC turn the idle down?

I believe when you unplug the IAC the pindle stays in the same position and you will not see any idle change.

I've never done it, but I would believe it depends on what postition it was at when you disconnected it.

Cool

Idle will shoot up. You might want to check and see if your throttle shaft or blades is binding, or check for a vaccum leak.
