Going with Heads and Cam... WHAT ELSE???

I am getting ready for Heads and Cam in my 94 Z M6 and I was wondering what else I need to look into when doing this. I will of course have the exhaust and intake sides covered, but I was wondering how far will the stock injectors go?? How about the stock fuel pump?? What will I need in regards to ECM mods?? Thanks alot guys and I am looking forward to my first LT1 project!!!!

I'm sure InjectedSS can give you the breakdown of part #'s of what you'll need. ie:

Head, intake and timing gaskets, head studs, blah blah blah...

And like he said...you'll need to beef up that valvetrain.

The stock injectors are good to about 350 rwhp or so. The stock will go quite a ways, and a reprogram would be almost gaurenteed depending on what cam you go with.

Yeah, with the cam I am planning on running I was going to go with new springs. Gaskets and a timing chain I know are a must, but, I was unaware of a need to change out the lifters. Im a newbie to the LT1 so dont kill me for this, but arent the lifters roller? If they are, I wasnt expecting to change them. TIA

No need to change the lifters. I would definately change the springs, retainers and keys. I would also add 1.6 rockers to compliment the cam and get the most out of it.
