just ordered my jet hot longtubes :)

hopefuly will be a not-so hard installation...if so..o well i got a month and 15 or so days to do it b4 i can drive, QUESTION...called muffler shop, they said about 55 bucks to make a y pipe, smart move or no? how does the jethot y pipe install? does it hit? ..thanks for info on the f1 question

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You just bought yourself a ticket to the world of sadomasochism.

If that shop can make a y-pipe for you for $55, then that's a helluva deal. Just make sure you make it 3" rather than 2.5" and the ground clearance isn't too bad.

My hooker y-pipe went in with some pushing and shoving. I'm glad I didn't have to install it myself.... I've had enough fun installing the LTs...

a 2.5" y pipe would help with clearance...

The car is sitting at an angle in that picture so the clearance isn't accurate. I will try to get a better picture on a flat surface.
I'm happy with the clearance. Haven't hit or scratched on anything so far. Knock on wood.

will 3'' all the way back from y pipe to muffler have any power gains? i never had "cat back" just borla muffler, cats being removed with the ypipe im getting......... OH yeah does any1 have a soundclip of borla/longtubes? im wondering how much of a sound diff. this is gonna make

yes 3" header-back would be a great way to open your exhaust and you can keep it at 3" even after you stroke your motor, if you do...

at sea level, with lets say a ... weight of 3450 w/ driver, CAI ...longtubes, 6 speed...good driver, 2 second 60 foot or so what would 1/4 time look like? from stock car... .4 or .5 shave maybe?
