GMHTP Thunder chicken, 420RWHP??

First off the car has awesome set of heads and a bottom end but the cam? Its a cc305 and the headers are still shorty style headers. So how the heck is this making 420 at the wheels, its amazing but what are the key factors, is it the heads and bottom end? It's an amazing 93, true testement that 93s can still play with the MAF cars, and whe wheels, none other than Fikse FM5s.

Those are going to be some VERY good heads then if its making 420RW with a 305, I'd have to assume extremely hogged out LT4s or maybe something even 'better.'

Way overpriced IMO, you can get race wheels for under half that price.

Well from what the magazine says they are LPE heads that were cleaned by Motor Sport, still LPE and MTI doing heads, thats a lot $$$ right there.

Fikse are still some of my favorite wheels, I guess I'll have to wait to Eagle makes a copy of the FM10s.......

Yeah, the Fikse are nice, but you can get $1600-$2000 forged wheels that WILL stand up to racing abuse with high G force loads.

$4000-$6000 for HRE or Fikse, just not worth it to me.

LPE can port many different heads, if they are LT1s I have a hard time believing that is not a 383, are you sure of it being a 350? If its a 383 thats still pretty good, but nothing amazing, whimpy cam 383s put out 400 RW easily.

Shoot, well that explains it. Still pretty good output considering what 305 cars do with heads/stock bottom, but nothing to write home about, other than great torque and passing smog to boot
