Anyone made a board for rear sub in hatch?
I have a 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch DVC sub I am going to install along with a MTX thunder 8200 amp bridged 2 ohm mono. Thundered hard, clean, and loud in my 01 Frontier with small sealed box. But that was traded for my Bird.
Was planning on using MDF board all way across lower part of hatch and using 3/4 thick foam weatherstrip around edge of T-top storage/ trunk to help seal in some. As I mentioned I have T-tops so I need to be able to put them away in car when removed so that is reason for using board.
Thanx

They are delicious!
I just plain HATE rice cars.

8200? Do you mean 81000D? If so then you cannot bridge the amp. It is a single channel amplifier, not stereo.

Why bother with a board that you'll have to remove to store your tops? Get a Stealthbox instead.

sounds like a lazy idea.... no offense.
if its a ten, then i would get the stealth box, or make one yourself to fit in the cubby hole on the drivers side of the well
shouldnt be too hard... the plastic panel will flex and should conceal f ups in fitment pretty well
